Protecting your Privacy

At Feck we are always keeping our eye on how the digital landscape changes, and implementing safeguards to further protect the privacy of our contributors and their content. There are effective steps you can take as well. These are things that a lot of security conscious people are doing, even if they don't have sensitive content on the web:

Anonymise your profile picture on social media accounts.
If you don't already, use a pseudonym for social media accounts rather than your real name.
Set your accounts to Private so you can choose who follows you.
Be especially careful of what personal info you put on accounts like LinkedIn.
Close old social media accounts you're not using any more.

These simple steps will help keep people with nefarious intent out of your online circles and in turn, away from your real life identity.

If you are contacted by someone on your social profiles who claims to have seen your adult content, don't engage, just lock them out.
